GREEN WOLF Supply Chain & Sustainability, founded by Wolf Liebchen, is a consulting practice aimed at helping companies to improve their supply chain setup and processes, with special focus on green supply chains. In the classic supply chain arena, GREEN WOLF advises clients how to build and improve their supply chain processes in warehousing, distribution, reverse logistics, and service parts logistics. Another key service offering is the design & management of requests for proposal (from conception to vendor implementation). In green supply chain, GREEN WOLF guides clients towards determining and reducing their supply chain carbon footprint. This includes strategic & tactical supply chain decisions, project management, and customer training/ workshops. GREEN WOLF also helps clients set up green teams/ programs, starting the journey towards a more cost and resource efficient future.
After graduating with honors from the University of Bamberg, Germany in 1992 with a Master’s degree in supply chain & marketing, Wolf has worked in a variety of areas, including OEM's (Minolta), third party logistics providers (DHL, Horizon), and supply chain consulting, both in Europe and in the US. Wolf has successfully lead projects with supply chain customers in telecommunications, semiconductors/ semiconductor equipment, hi-tech/ electronics, medical equipment, and optical distribution & eyewear. His deep global supply chain experience includes transportation (all modes), warehousing, reverse logistics, service parts, RFQ management, and process analysis & redesign. Additionally, he is a sustainability pioneer, especially in the field of carbon emissions, where he was named co-inventor on a patent for a transport emissions calculator. Since 2007 Wolf has added sustainability and green supply chains to his knowledge portfolio.
